1988-1998 GMC Sierra Standard Cab Sub Box Shallow Truck Sealed­

Pick-up trucks are always limited on space so shallow truck boxes are the option. This pick-up box is available as a shallow version or deeper for traditional subs. This box was designed to work on the 1988-98 GMC Sierra Standard Cab with a bench seat but will work on most standard cab trucks. This box is full width at 54”x17x9 with 2.7cuft and can be made for 10” or 12” subs with 6 3/8” or it can be made 7” deep instead of 9” for less loss of leg room and still have 1.7cuft each with 4 3/8” or depth. Either version can use up to 3 subs but it is intended for 1 or 2. Please specify if you want the regular version or shallow version. This design may not work if your truck has a center console. If you want to try to see if it will fit please measure first.

This is a sealed subwoofer box. A sealed subwoofer box has a tight and punchy bass that is more articulate and more true to the music with a more natural sound. For customers who want louder deeper bass with the lower bass more pronounced. Because of the ported design, the bass will not be as tight and punchy, but there is double the bass of a sealed box with the same subs. If big bass is what you want then our ported box will be what you want.

This box is made out of 3/4″ MDF and is fully carpeted in matching carpet. The nickle plated spring loaded speaker terminals are mounted on the back of the box and the speaker wires are soldered on for a solid and reliable connection.
