1993-2012 Ford Ranger Extended Cab Sub Box X-Large Sealed

This is the biggest, baddest subwoofer enclosure that we make for the 1993-2011 Ford Ranger Extended Cab. This down fire design is 5.2cuft with over 10″ of mounting depth and just sits into place behind the front seats and fires the subs down at the floor. Because this is a down fire design you get the added acoustical benefit but also get some protection for the subs. Because of the size and the small cab, if you’re wanting to rattle teeth and piss old people off, this is the enclosure that you want!

This enclosure will hold a wide variety of subs with two 10s or up to three 8s. A single ported sub down fire in this truck sounds fantastic. Let me know what you would like to do and I will get it made for you. The rear seating will be unusable with this box since it sits where the seats would have folded down.

This is a sealed subwoofer enclosure. Sealed subwoofer enclosures have a tight and punchy bass that is more articulate and more true to the music with a more natural sound. For customers who want louder, deeper bass with the lower bass more pronounced, a ported enclosure is what you want. Because of the ported design, the bass will not be as tight and punchy, but there is typically double the bass of a sealed box with the same subs and power. If big bass is what you want, then our ported designs will be what you want.

This box is made out of 3/4″ MDF and is fully carpeted in matching carpet. The nickle plated spring loaded speaker terminals are mounted on the back of the box and the speaker wires are soldered on for a solid and reliable connection.
