1994-2001 Dodge Ram Extended Cab Downfire Sealed Sub Box
The 1994-2001 Dodge Ram Extended Cabs are extremely popular trucks, but as with anything of this age, the stereo system needs some serious improvement. This box will help with that.
The box fits up under the back seat and is a down fire box to get the best acoustics out of the truck and to get the most practical use of space. It’s made to hold one sub under each back seat and it takes up all the space that is under there. It is 1.4cuft of total airspace and has a mounting depth of 5″ for 10s 5 3/4″ with our metal back plates. Plenty of space to get some good equipment in there.
Installation requires removal of the jack kit and storage tray from under the back seat. Other than that it’s a super easy installation.
This box is made out of 3/4″ MDF and is fully carpeted in matching carpet. The nickle plated spring loaded speaker terminals are mounted on the back of the box and the speaker wires are soldered on for a solid and reliable connection.
This is a sealed subwoofer box. A sealed subwoofer box has a tight and punchy bass that is more articulate and more true to the music with a more natural sound. For customers who want louder deeper bass with the lower bass more pronounced. Because of the ported design, the bass will not be as tight and punchy, but there is double the bass of a sealed box with the same subs. If big bass is what you want then our ported box will be what you want.
