1998-2003 Ford F150 Standard Cab Sub Box Ported

This is the 1998-2003 Ford F150 Standard Cab Sub Box. The 1997-2003 Ford F-150 Standard Cab has a very limited amount of space behind the seat and it makes it very difficult to fit subs back there without loosing a whole lot of leg room. This box will fit without having to slide the seat up much and is still 1.1cuft with 5″ of mounting depth. This ported box is intended for 8″ or 10” subs but they will need to be pretty shallow. This box is made out of 3/4″ MDF and is fully carpeted in matching carpet. The nickle plated spring loaded speaker terminals are mounted on the back of the box and the speaker wires are soldered on for a solid and reliable connection.

This is a ported subwoofer box. Ported subwoofer boxes are for customers who want louder, deeper bass with the lower bass more pronounced. Because of the ported design, the bass will not be as tight and punchy as a sealed box, but there is double the bass of a sealed box with the same subs. A sealed subwoofer box has a tight and punchy bass that is more articulate and more true to the music with a more natural sound. If tight, punchy bass is what you want then our sealed box will be what you want.

This is our ported design. This design is for maximum airspace and the airspace of the box can be reduced if desired. Our ported boxes are designed according to your subwoofers specifications. No two boxes will really be alike. At checkout, there is a Comment box, please give us the model number of your subs and we will build the box as needed.
