1999-2006 Chevy Silverado Standard Cab Sub Box Dual Shallow
Pick-up trucks are always limited on space so shallow truck boxes are the option. This pick-up box is available as a shallow version or for traditional subs. This box was designed to work on the 1999-2006 Chevy Silverado Standard cab but will work on most standard cab trucks. This box is the shallow version for this truck so you can keep a bit of leg room. It is full width at 56×6.5×13.5 with 1.5cuft total with 4 1/4” mounting depth and can be made for two 10” or 12” subs. Or with the metal back plates around 5 3/4″ mounting depth can be used. Or for the ambitious, 3 10” subs would work. You could actually fit 3-4 10” or 12” subs, and I can make it that way for you, but airspace will be on the small side but it is doable depending on the subwoofer being used. Please specify if you want the regular version or shallow version.
This is a sealed subwoofer enclosure. Sealed subwoofer enclosures have a tight and punchy bass that is more articulate and more true to the music with a more natural sound. For customers who want louder, deeper bass with the lower bass more pronounced, a ported enclosure is what you want. Because of the ported design, the bass will not be as tight and punchy, but there is typically double the bass of a sealed box with the same subs and power. If big bass is what you want, then our ported designs will be what you want.
This box is made out of 3/4″ MDF and is fully carpeted in matching carpet. The nickle plated spring loaded speaker terminals are mounted on the back of the box and the speaker wires are soldered on for a solid and reliable connection.
