1999-2016 Ford Super Duty SuperCrew JUMBO Sub Box Ported

This is a Ford Super Duty SuperCrew Sub Box for the 2006-16 F250 and F350 trucks. Ford Super Duty SuperCrew F250 and F350 trucks don’t have a lot of options. Space behind the rear seat is at a premium and under the seat is not much of an option. This is one of our JUMBO enclosures and uses a seat relocation kit from LMI Welding to move the seat forward 2.5″. The rear wall carpet must be removed to fit this enclosure into place. This box has cutouts in it to fit around the rear shoulder seat belt and does have the cutout for the rear power window motor. There are also recesses to fit around the vents on the back wall for extra mounting depth. It is 3.25cuft of shared airspace if you have the power window and shoulder belt. Without those and the airspace is 3.5cuft. This will work for 8s, 10s and 12″ subwoofers. For trucks with the rear shoulder belt, the plastic covering it can be trimmed down and fits nicely back into place. If you need anything special feel free to ask.

This is a ported subwoofer enclosure. Ported subwoofer enclosures are for customers who want louder, deeper bass with the lower bass more pronounced. Because of the ported design, the bass will not be as tight and punchy as a sealed box, but there is typically double the bass of a sealed box with the same subs and power. A sealed subwoofer box has a tight and punchy bass that is more articulate and truer to the music with a more natural sound. If tight, punchy bass is what you want then our sealed designs will be what you want.

This design is for maximum airspace and the airspace of the box can be reduced if desired. Our ported boxes are designed according to your subwoofer’s specifications. No two boxes will really be alike. At checkout, there is a “Comment” box, please give us the model number of your subs and we will build the enclosure as needed. We tend to tune our boxes low, around 34-37hz. If you have any specific requests, please feel free to let us know.

This box is made from 3/4″ MDF and is fully carpeted in matching carpet. The nickel-plated spring-loaded speaker terminals are mounted on the back of the box and the speaker wires are soldered on for a solid and reliable connection.
