2002-08 Dodge Ram Regular Cab Sub Box Ported Large

The Dodge Ram Regular cabs have a ton of space available behind the seats for a traditional truck box but most people don’t want to take out the factory storage tray. This box design is for the 2002-08 Dodge Ram Regular Cabs and is a full width box made to replace the storage bin and contours to the back wall so there are no gaps, making it look like it should have come that way from the factory. This box is as big as we can get and still have your seat all the way back. At 3.38cuft of airspace and with a mounting depth of 8 1/2″ for a 10 and 7 3/4” for a 12″, this box has the space to allow for two to four 8s, two or three 10s even a pair of 12s. This is a ported subwoofer enclosure. Ported subwoofer enclosures are for customers who want louder, deeper bass with the lower bass more pronounced. Because of the ported design, the bass will not be as tight and punchy as a sealed box, but there is typically double the bass of a sealed box with the same subs and power. A sealed subwoofer box has a tight and punchy bass that is more articulate and truer to the music with a more natural sound. If tight, punchy bass is what you want then our sealed designs will be what you want.

This design is for maximum airspace and the airspace of the box can be reduced if desired. Our ported boxes are designed according to your subwoofer’s specifications. No two boxes will really be alike. At checkout, there is a “Comment” box, please give us the model number of your subs and we will build the enclosure as needed.
