2004-2008 Ford F150 Extended Cab Sub Box Single Sealed
This is the 2004-08 Ford F150 Extended Cab Sub Box. The 2004-2008 Ford F150 Extended Cab trucks brought new issues on limitations for stereo systems with the split rear seat and the floor jack underneath one part of that seat on top of the limited space to begin with. For those that want a little bit of bottom end without getting rid of the floor jack my half box gives 0.65cuft of airspace for a single 10” sub with 4 3/4″ of mounting depth. By adding either my steel bump plates or a combination of wood and steel bump, the mounting depth isn’t as much of an issue. Please let me know what subs you have if depth is a concern for you. 400 watts on a single 10” sub is normally enough to not only sound good but have a little fun with.
This box is made out of 3/4″ MDF and is fully carpeted in matching carpet. The nickle plated spring loaded speaker terminals are mounted on the back of the box and the speaker wires are soldered on for a solid and reliable connection.
This is a sealed subwoofer enclosure. Sealed subwoofer enclosures have a tight and punchy bass that is more articulate and more true to the music with a more natural sound. For customers who want louder, deeper bass with the lower bass more pronounced, a ported enclosure is what you want. Because of the ported design, the bass will not be as tight and punchy, but there is typically double the bass of a sealed box with the same subs and power. If big bass is what you want, then our ported designs will be what you want.
