2004-2009 Dodge Durango Sub Box Big Sealed

The 2004-2009 Dodge Durango has a surprising amount of cargo room for an SUV with 3 rows of seating. Most other SUV are limited behind the seats for putting anything stereo wise back there, but not the Durango. This box design is to get every bit of usable space from behind that third row for those of you who want some serious bass. It is a rear fire design that is a whopping 5cuft of airspace with 10” of mounting depth. Pretty much anything is possible back here. Four 8s or 10s even three 12s or two 15s will fit in the sealed version. Four 8s or 10s even two 12s or one 15 will fit the ported version. You name it, it can probably go here. This is a sealed subwoofer box. A sealed subwoofer box has a tight and punchy bass that is more articulate and truer to the music with a more natural sound. For customers who want louder deeper bass with the lower bass more pronounced, a ported box is what you want. Because of the ported design, the bass will not be as tight and punchy, but there is double the bass of a sealed box with the same subs. If big bass is what you want then our ported box will be what you want.

This design is for maximum airspace and the airspace of the box can be reduced if desired. Our ported boxes are designed according to your subwoofer’s specifications. No two boxes will really be alike. At checkout, there is a Comment box, please give us the model number of your subs and we will build the box as needed. We tend to tune our boxes deep, around 34-37hz. If you have any specific requests, please feel free to let us know.

This box is made of 3/4″ MDF and is fully carpeted in matching carpet. The nickel-plated spring-loaded speaker terminals are mounted on the back of the box and the speaker wires are soldered on for a solid and reliable connection.
