2005-2014 Ford Mustang Sub Box Large Rear Fire Sub Box

Ford Mustangs have always been popular vehicles but the trunks have always made it difficult to put too elaborate of a sub box because of a small trunk opening and the late model 2005-2014 Mustangs are no different. Not only is the trunk opening small, the trunk floor is not level so a regular box will not sit flat on the floor without coming all the way next to the trunk opening.

So our way to get around this is with our two piece design. The box is put into the trunk in two pieces and then you screw the two parts together in order to get a box that big into the trunk of a Mustang. This enclosure is 4.27cuft total. Yes, you read that right, 4.27cuft sub box in a Mustang. This box is great for two 12s or 10s.

This is two complete boxes so it is rather large so there will be two different packages being shipped to you and the enclosure will have to be assembled in the trunk of the car and then the two parts sealed together. Installation of this box will make it difficult to get to your spare tire.

This box is made out of 3/4″ MDF and is fully carpeted in matching trunk carpet. The nickle plated spring loaded speaker terminals are mounted on the back of the box and the speaker wires are soldered on for a solid and reliable connection.

This is a sealed subwoofer box. A sealed subwoofer box has a tight and punchy bass that is more articulate and more true to the music with a more natural sound. For customers who want louder deeper bass with the lower bass more pronounced. Because of the ported design, the bass will not be as tight and punchy, but there is double the bass of a sealed box with the same subs. If big bass is what you want then our ported box will be what you want.
