2005-2023 Chrysler 300 Sub Box X-Large Ported

The 2005-2023 Chrysler 300 has a large trunk, but if functionality is still desired with a stereo then the box cannot be too big. Since the trunk floor has the battery and the spare tire under the cover, if the box is too deep then the box would have to be removed in order to access anything underneath. I don’t prefer to sacrifice functionality of a vehicle for a stereo system. The floor of the car also has two humps on the rear side walls which makes fitting most traditionally sized sub boxes awkward or not even possible.

This enclosure is made to be as big as we can make it while still getting to the battery and fuse box in the floor. We have 4.7cuft, has 12” of mounting depth and is great for either two or three 10” subs or a couple of 12s. If you want big bass in your Charger, this is the way to go.

The enclosure fits from the hinge in the floor all the way to the back seat, so your amplifier will have to go somewhere other than the seat back or back of the box. We like to put them in the spare tire well, but there are a few other options.

This is a ported subwoofer box. Ported subwoofer boxes are for customers who want louder, deeper bass with the lower bass more pronounced. Because of the ported design, the bass will not be as tight and punchy as a sealed box, but there is double the bass of a sealed box with the same subs. A sealed subwoofer box has a tight and punchy bass that is more articulate and more true to the music with a more natural sound. If tight, punchy bass is what you want then our sealed box will be what you want.

This design is for maximum airspace and the airspace of the box can be reduced if desired. Our ported boxes are designed according to your subwoofers specifications. No two boxes will really be alike. At checkout, there is a Comment box, please give us the model number of your subs and we will build the box as needed. This box is made out of 3/4″ MDF and is fully carpeted in matching carpet. The nickle plated spring loaded speaker terminals are mounted on the back of the box and the speaker wires are soldered on for a solid and reliable connection.
