2007-18 Jeep Wrangler JK Sub Box Cargo Bin
2007 and up Jeep Wrangler JK has a little more room in the back and the tailgate is a little different so there are a few different options here. My favorite box is a down fire design with a 4” storage bin built in on top. Since the box takes up all the space in the rear this still gives room to hold cargo without sacrificing all the space. It has .9cuft per sub for either two 10s or two 12s with 8 1/2” of mounting depth. Or a single sub can be used in a ported box for more output and deeper bass. A downfire box like this works best in an open air vehicle like a Jeep because the loading effect of the downfire design. It helps to get a little more output since there is no cabin gain in an open air vehicle like this. Short version is downfire is a good way to make the system louder in a Jeep.
This is a sealed subwoofer box. A sealed subwoofer box has a tight and punchy bass that is more articulate and more true to the music with a more natural sound. For customers who want louder deeper bass with the lower bass more pronounced. Because of the ported design, the bass will not be as tight and punchy, but there is double the bass of a sealed box with the same subs. If big bass is what you want then our ported box will be what you want.
This box is made out of 3/4″ MDF and is fully carpeted in matching carpet. The nickle plated spring loaded speaker terminals are mounted on the back of the box and the speaker wires are soldered on for a solid and reliable connection.
