2007-2013 GMC Sierra Standard Cab Sub Box Single Truck Sealed

The 2007-2013 GMC Sierra Standard Cab trucks pose some of its own unique challenges to getting a good stereo to fit inside. For one the center shoulder seat belt is in the way for doing a traditional full width box for 2 subs, and then the seats don’t even fold up all the way which makes getting a decent sized box in there difficult. This box design is for one single box. One can be installed behind each seat, but to make the driver side box fit like it should, the center seat belt will have to be unbolted and removed, so this is not a basic install. Once installed though, the options for subs is pretty limitless. The bottom edge of the box is fitted to the floor to fill any gaps and makes it look really nice. The jack and mounting studs on the floor behind the seat need to be removed for this box to fit properly.

THIS IS FOR A SINGLE ENCLOSURE.

This is a sealed subwoofer box. A sealed subwoofer box has a tight and punchy bass that is more articulate and more true to the music with a more natural sound. For customers who want louder deeper bass with the lower bass more pronounced. Because of the ported design, the bass will not be as tight and punchy, but there is double the bass of a sealed box with the same subs. If big bass is what you want then our ported box will be what you want.

This box is made out of 3/4″ MDF and is fully carpeted in matching carpet. The nickle plated spring loaded speaker terminals are mounted on the back of the box and the speaker wires are soldered on for a solid and reliable connection.
