2008-2023 Dodge Challenger Sub Box Medium Ported

­The 2008-2023 Dodge Challenger has a large trunk, but if functionality is still desired with a stereo then the box cannot be too big. Since the trunk floor has the battery and the spare tire under the cover, if the box is too deep then the box would have to be removed in order to access anything underneath. I don’t prefer to sacrifice functionality of a vehicle for a stereo system. The floor of the car also has two humps on the rear side walls which makes fitting most traditionally sized sub boxes awkward or not even possible. This box is 2cuft, has 10” of mounting depth and is great for either two 12” subs or a single 12” ported. It is a tall and shallow box only 8” deep at the bottom which means you can have a great stereo and hardly take up any room in you trunk.

This is a ported subwoofer box. Ported subwoofer boxes are for customers who want louder, deeper bass with the lower bass more pronounced. Because of the ported design, the bass will not be as tight and punchy as a sealed box, but there is double the bass of a sealed box with the same subs. A sealed subwoofer box has a tight and punchy bass that is more articulate and more true to the music with a more natural sound. If tight, punchy bass is what you want then our sealed box will be what you want.

This is our ported design. This design is for maximum airspace and the airspace of the box can be reduced if desired. Our ported boxes are designed according to your subwoofers specifications. No two boxes will really be alike. At checkout, there is a Comment box, please give us the model number of your subs and we will build the box as needed. This box is made out of 3/4″ MDF and is fully carpeted in matching carpet. The nickel plated spring loaded speaker terminals are mounted on the back of the box and the speaker wires are soldered on for a solid and reliable connection.
