2009-2014 Ford F150 SuperCab Sub Box Dual Sealed
This is a Ford F150 SuperCab Sub Box. The 2009 Ford F-150 SuperCab showed some interesting changes in truck design by getting rid of the driveshaft hump in the center of the floor. There still isn’t that much room under the seat though. This design is a down fire box to get the best acoustics out of the truck and to get the most practical use of space. This box is 1.2cuft for two 10s or 12s. Or it can be used for one single 10” or 12” sub to get a deeper bass depending on the sub. Mounting depth is limited to about 5” with a steel bump plate so shallow mount subs are almost necessary. The factory jack and mounting bracket will need to be removed for the sub box to fit correctly.
This box is made out of 3/4″ MDF and is fully carpeted in matching carpet. The nickle plated spring loaded speaker terminals are mounted on the back of the box and the speaker wires are soldered on for a solid and reliable connection.
This is a sealed subwoofer enclosure. Sealed subwoofer enclosures have a tight and punchy bass that is more articulate and more true to the music with a more natural sound. For customers who want louder, deeper bass with the lower bass more pronounced, a ported enclosure is what you want. Because of the ported design, the bass will not be as tight and punchy, but there is typically double the bass of a sealed box with the same subs and power. If big bass is what you want, then our ported designs will be what you want.
