2013-2018 Dodge Ram Mega Cab Sub Box Full Size Large Box Ported

In 2006, Dodge decided that people want to use their trucks for work. So to accommodate, they made the truck bigger by giving it more space behind the seat for tools and storage. Now for a stereo guy like me, the first thing that came to my mind was “Finally a truck with room for a killer stereo.” This design for the 2013-up Dodge Ram Mega Cab is for the truck guys who want some serious sound from the space behind the back seats. This design replaces the rear storage behind the seats and has 5.15cuft of airspace with 7 1/2″ of mounting depth. This box requires you to unclip the storage hooks from the rear wall in order for the box to fit in flush against the rear wall. I feel it fits better without the rear panel but it can be left in place if desired.

This box is designed for the maximum amount of airspace available from behind the back seat so recline will be limited with it in place.

This is our ported design. This design is for maximum airspace and the airspace of the box can be reduced if desired. Our ported boxes are designed according to your subwoofers specifications. No two boxes will really be alike. At checkout, there is a Comment box, please give us the model number of your subs and we will build the box as needed. We tend to tune our boxes deep, around 34-37hz. If you have any specific requests please feel free to let us know.

This box is made out of 3/4″ MDF and is fully carpeted in matching carpet. The nickel plated spring loaded speaker terminals are mounted on the back of the box and the speaker wires are soldered on for a solid and reliable connection.

The standard enclosure, or Stage 1, comes with the carpet of your choice. The vinyl one shown is a Stage 2 and is an optional upgrade. Please contact us and we can go over options with you.
