2015-2019 Ford F150 SuperCab Sub Box Full Ported

This is a Ford F150 SuperCab Sub Box. ­The 2015 Ford F-150 SuperCab showed some interesting changes in truck design by getting rid of the driveshaft hump in the center of the floor. There still isn’t that much room under the seat though. This design is a down fire box to get the best acoustics out of the truck and to get the most practical use of space. This box is .97cuft for two 8s or 10s. Or it can be used for one single ported 10” or two 8″ subs to get a deeper bass depending on the sub. Mounting depth is limited to about 3 5/8″ or 4 3/8” with a steel bump plate so shallow mount subs are almost necessary. The factory jack and mounting bracket will need to be removed for the sub box to fit correctly.

This box is made out of 3/4″ MDF and is fully carpeted in matching carpet. The nickle plated spring loaded speaker terminals are mounted on the back of the box and the speaker wires are soldered on for a solid and reliable connection.

This is a ported subwoofer box. Ported subwoofer boxes are for customers who want louder, deeper bass with the lower bass more pronounced. Because of the ported design, the bass will not be as tight and punchy as a sealed box, but there is double the bass of a sealed box with the same subs. A sealed subwoofer box has a tight and punchy bass that is more articulate and more true to the music with a more natural sound. If tight, punchy bass is what you want then our sealed box will be what you want.

This is our ported design. This design is for maximum airspace and the airspace of the box can be reduced if desired. Our ported boxes are designed according to your subwoofers specifications. No two boxes will really be alike. At checkout, there is a Comment box, please give us the model number of your subs and we will build the box as needed.
