This is a Ford Super Duty SuperCrew Sub Box. The all new 2015 Ford F250 and F350 Super Duty SuperCrew has quite a bit more room under the back seat of their new SuperCrew trucks than their previous models. There still isn’t a ton of room under the seats, but it is an improvement over the previous model. This design is a down fire box to get the best acoustics out of the truck and to get the most practical use of space. This sealed box is .75cuft total for one 10 or 12, or maybe a couple of 8s, and is only 29″ long so you still get to keep a lot of the space under the back seat for storage. If our steel back plates are used then you get about 5 1/4″ for 10s and 5″ for 12s, so shallow mount subs are almost necessary.

This design has 2″ of clearance between the face of the box and the floor for increased subwoofer clearance and to help with output. Some manufacturers will have larger mounting depth measurements but that takes away from the floor clearance. Too little floor clearance can damage your subwoofer and limits bass.

This is a sealed subwoofer box. A sealed subwoofer box has a tight and punchy bass that is more articulate and more true to the music with a more natural sound. For customers who want louder deeper bass with the lower bass more pronounced. Because of the ported design, the bass will not be as tight and punchy, but there is double the bass of a sealed box with the same subs. If big bass is what you want then our ported box will be what you want.
