2018-up Jeep Wrangler JLU Unlimited Sub Box Medium Downfire Sealed

This Jeep Wrangler Unlimited JLU sub box was designed for those who want big bass and aren’t concerned with loosing cargo space.

This design has 3.51cuft of airspace and over 12″ of mounting depth, which allows for a ton of options for your subwoofers, to get you exactly the big bass that you are after. This is a great enclosure for a couple of 10s or 12s ported. The subs mounting surface is 2″ from the floor, which will allow for a lot of travel from some big subwoofer. A downfire box works best in an open air vehicle like a Jeep because the loading effect of the downfire design helps to get a little more output since there is no cabin gain in an open air vehicle like this.

The enclosure fits up tight against the back of the seat, almost side to side between the fenders, and up to where the floor hinges up. So full access to the cargo bin is still available with this sub box. You get big bass and get to keep most of your cargo space. And the Downfiring subs are protected from cargo, just another bonus.

This is a sealed subwoofer box. A sealed subwoofer box has a tight and punchy bass that is more articulate and more true to the music with a more natural sound. For customers who want louder deeper bass with the lower bass more pronounced, a ported box is what you want. Because of the ported design, the bass will not be as tight and punchy, but there is double the bass of a sealed box with the same subs. If big bass is what you want, then our ported box will be what you want.

This box is made out of 3/4″ MDF and is fully carpeted in matching carpet. The nickle plated spring loaded speaker terminals are mounted on the back of the box and the speaker wires are soldered on for a solid and reliable connection.
