2019-up Dodge Ram Premium Audio Amplifier Bypass Harness

I have been selling and installing audio equipment for over 20 years and one of my rules for installing is to do as much of the prep outside of the vehicle. The less time in the vehicle, the less of a risk you have of damaging something and it generally makes it faster since working at a bench is better than an awkward position in the vehicle. This is one of the main reasons we like our T-harnesses for our Dodge Ram customers.

This harness fits 2019-up 5th Gen Rams, 1500, 2500 or 3500 with the Alpine or Harman Kardon premium sound systems. .

It is a plug-n-play harness that plugs in at the factory amplifier under the Driver seat on the 1500 and under the driver side dash if you have a 2500-3500. Other than installation simplicity, it also keeps you from cutting up the wiring in your brand new truck.

Now, where it gets tricky is that Ram uses the same amplifier plugs for all of their platforms. Meaning it’s the same plugs for a 5th Gen Ram 1500 Crew with Alpine as it is the Harman, and the same as the 2500-3500 trucks, but the outputs are different for all of them. All the speaker pairs are labeled, but they are labeled “Speaker 1, Speaker 2, etc”, so you will have to test and verify the speaker pairs you will need for your application.
