2007-13 Chevy Tahoe Sub Box Sealed Downfire Large Third Row
The 2007-13 Chevy Tahoe, with its third row seat, has surprisingly little room for subs for a large SUV and this box is made to take up as much of that space as possible. This Chevy Tahoe Sub Box design is for those who want the bass while keeping the third row seating. It has a maximum airspace of 4.2cuft with over 9” of mounting depth. This Chevy Tahoe Sub Box design uses the acoustics of your Chevy Tahoe to help make the bass even louder by forcing the bass to go forward. This Down fire design also helps minimize your lift gate rattle.
This subwoofer box is great for a large number of subwoofer combinations. Three to four 10s or 12s could be used in this box to really get the bass pounding in your Chevy Tahoe. If even more bass is what is wanted then we also have a ported version that will blow you away.
If you want to keep some sort of storage then the best compromise is to keep it tall and narrow, so feel free to contact us with special requests. We also offer this box in a ported design. Let me know what you want to do and what subs you have and I will see what I can do for you.
This is a sealed subwoofer box. A sealed subwoofer box has a tight and punchy bass that is more articulate and more true to the music with a more natural sound. For customers who want louder deeper bass with the lower bass more pronounced, a ported box is what you want. Because of the ported design, the bass will not be as tight and punchy, but there is double the bass of a sealed box with the same subs. If big bass is what you want then our ported box will be what you want.
This box is made out of 3/4″ MDF and is fully carpeted in matching carpet. The nickle plated spring loaded speaker terminals are mounted on the back of the box and the speaker wires are soldered on for a solid and reliable connection.
